If you haven't heard of Wolves in the Throne Room by now you either don't listen to metal, or have been living under a rock. One of the most interesting black metal bands to come out in recent years combining the raw black metal sound with more a ambient/shoegaze sound to create a beautiful blend of music.
Since most people have heard this already you may be wondering why I am featuring it on the blog. Well, this is a rip of the recently released double lp version of the album put out by Southern Lord. It features an extended intro to "Cleansing" that is honestly just wankery I could do without (it doesn't really add anything to the song and I feel like it was probably added to make the song fill an entire side of the lp). Also featured is a brand new track, "To Reveal". This track is up to par with the rest of the album, and if you are anal like me, it is definitely worth downloading the whole album again to have the extra track.
